KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan has stressed the importance of investing in women to help them become self-reliant, while also preserving cultural and religious values.
In a recent interview with a YouTube channel, Ahsan Khan spoke at length about women’s empowerment and the need for greater societal support.
Responding to a question, he said, “We don’t invest enough in enabling women to move forward. A woman should be empowered enough to understand life, but that doesn’t mean she has to abandon her principles, culture, or religion.”
He added that an informed and educated woman is better equipped to make wise decisions. “If a woman is aware of everything, she will be able to understand things more clearly and handle life more confidently,” he emphasized.
Speaking during a recent interview, he said, “There are many women whose husbands have either passed away or separated from them, and they are left unaware of how to manage life. I’m not talking about something modern or trendy this is a religious point, and we have the example of Hazrat Khadija (RA) before us, who was an empowered, independent woman.”
He stressed that empowerment means preparing women to navigate life with awareness and confidence. “We learn how to live from the best among us, and for us, those best examples are noble figures like Hazrat Khadija (RA),” he said.
