KARACHI – Death of a social media star was reported from Karachi’s Sakhi Hasan Chowrangi as a security guard opened fire on TikToker for filming in public.
A security guard was shot dead in a mobile market near Chowrangi in North Karachi on Tuesday, and CCTV of the horrific killing went viral on social media.
Initial reports claimed that Sakhi Hassan was filming Tik-Tok clip at Serena Mobile Market near Chowrangi, when the security guard intercepted him and directed him to leave.

Despite being stopped by the security guard, the digital creator continued to record the video, on which the guard got infuriated and opened fire.
Police told media that the victim died on the spot, and body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
As the horrific killing sparked outrage, police reached the spot and arrested the security guard and transferred him to the police station, and further investigation are underway.
