Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, attended a farewell reception hosted in honour of the outgoing Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan Marilina Armellin as the Chief Guest. The event was hosted by Mr. Luqman Afzal, CEO of the Monal Group.
Among the distinguished guests present on the occasion were Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Federal Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Defence production Raza Hayat Harraj, Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik, Prime Minister’s Adviser Tauqir Shah, CEO Monal Group Luqman Afzal, as well as a large number of federal ministers, ambassadors, members of the business community, social figures, and individuals from various walks of life.
Chairman Senate conveyed his best wishes to the outgoing Ambassador and prayed for her continued success and achievements in her future endeavours. He appreciated her contributions towards strengthening the longstanding and friendly relations between Pakistan and Italy and expressed confidence that these ties would continue to flourish in the years ahead.
