Attique Shah, who further ruled that if the governor fails to comply, the oath should instead be administered by KP Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict came after a PTI petition requested that the court authorize either the assembly speaker or another suitable person to conduct the swearing-in ceremony in place of the governor. Afridi\u2019s election, held on Monday, took place amid confusion over the resignation of former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
