Bollywood A-lister Ranbir Kapoor followed in superstar Shahrukh Khan\u2019s footsteps with his remuneration for his upcoming film \u2018Animal\u2019<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ranbir Kapoor, who was charging as much as 13-14 times more than the fellow star cast of his second release of the year, \u2018Animal\u2019<\/em>, has slashed the hefty remuneration by 50% to ease up on the production budget.<\/p>\n

As reported by an Indian tabloid, the actor compromised on his prevailing market value of INR70 crore for a film, only to charge INR30-35 crore.<\/p>\n

Reportedly, in order to \u2018improve the production value\u2019 of the gangster flick, the \u2018Brahmastra\u2019<\/em> actor cut up on his own remuneration to help the producers with the additional costs.<\/p>\n

However, against this concession, Kapoor has entered a profit-sharing deal for the project, similar to the one, SRK had with his comeback project \u2018Pathaan\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Apart from Kapoor, \u2018Animal\u2019\u00a0<\/em>also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles.<\/p>\n

The noir action thriller is written and directed by South filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga (of\u00a0\u2018Arjun Reddy\u2019<\/em>\u00a0and its remake\u00a0\u2018Kabir Singh\u2019<\/em>).<\/p>\n

After being delayed from the original August release, \u2018Animal\u2019<\/em> is scheduled to hit theatres on December 1. The film will be released in five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
