The Federal Shariat Court (FSC) has fixed for hearing a review petition related to PTI chairman Imran Khan\u2019s married life.<\/p>\n

A three-member bench headed by FSC Chief Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rahman will hear the review plea on October 2.<\/p>\n

The other two judges on the bench are Justice Khadim Hussain M Shaikh and Justice Dr Syed Muhammad Anwer.
The FSC had dismissed a petition filed by Shahid Orkazai on February 7, 2022 declaring it as non-maintainable with an observation that it was \u201cnot filed in accordance with the Federal Shariat Court (Procedure) Rules 1981\u201d.<\/p>\n

The petition sought a decree against Imran\u2019s marriage on the basis of 10 questions related to Islamic laws and constitutional provisions.<\/p>\n

The court noted that some questions were \u201cabsurd, derogatory and absolutely irrelevant\u201d, while two were \u201cambiguous, inconceivable and not understandable\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, Orkazai filed a review appeal against the court\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
