In a significant blow to cross-border collaboration, the much-anticipated Punjabi film Sardar Ji 3, starring Indian singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and Pakistani superstar Hania Amir, faces mounting hurdles amid rising India-Pakistan tensions.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s release in India is currently under threat due to governmental bans on Pakistani artists and fierce criticism from Hindu extremist groups targeting Dosanjh.<\/p>\n

Hania was missing from the film\u2019s teaser, which focused only on Diljit and Neeru, sparking speculation about the extent of her role. But the full trailer confirms her central presence.<\/p>\n

The backdrop of these developments includes the April terror attack in Pahalgam that resulted in 26 Indian casualties, prompting India to launch Operation Sindoor\u2014a military retaliation that led to the downing of six Indian fighter jets by Pakistani forces and subsequent military exchanges.<\/p>\n

Pakistani forces responded to Operation Sindoor by launching Operation Bunyan um Marsoos, shooting down six Indian fighter jets and attacking major military bases and stockpiles. The clash ended after both parties agreed on a ceasefire.<\/p>\n
