{"id":9487,"date":"2023-09-30T22:08:04","date_gmt":"2023-09-30T22:08:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/petrol-price-reduced-by-rs-8-per-litre\/"},"modified":"2023-09-30T22:08:04","modified_gmt":"2023-09-30T22:08:04","slug":"petrol-price-reduced-by-rs-8-per-litre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/petrol-price-reduced-by-rs-8-per-litre\/","title":{"rendered":"Petrol price reduced by Rs 8 per litre"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_98\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: Petrol price has come down by Rs 8 per litre in Pakistan after a two-month hike and set at Rs 323.38 per litre, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to details, the rate of petrol is reduced to Rs 323.38 per litre with a decline of Rs 8 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has dropped by Rs11 per litre to Rs318.18 whereas Kerosene oil prices reduced by Rs 7.53 per litre to Rs 237.28.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe title=\"Govt slashes petrol price by Rs8, high-speed diesel by Rs11 | ARY News\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f79N1e_tEXA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Caretaker Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi <a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/govt-hints-at-reducing-petrol-price\/\">hinted at reducing the petrol price<\/a> in the next fortnight\u2019s review as the Pakistani rupee gained massively against the US dollar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are enough chances that the fuel prices will come down in the next announcement,\u201d the minister said while talking to media at Karachi Press Club.<\/p>\n<p>Solangi said that the rupee gained Rs30 to Rs35 against the greenback due to administrative measures taken by the caretaker government in the last few days.<\/p>\n<p>It is pertinent to mention here that on Sept 15, the government made a massive hike in petrol and diesel prices after making tall claims of providing relief to the masses.<\/p>\n<p>A massive hike of Rs26.2 per litre was made on petrol and the new price would be Rs331.38 per litre.
