The crowd chanted patriotic slogans such as \u201cAllahu Akbar,\u201d \u201cLong live Pakistan Army,\u201d and \u201cPakistan Zindabad,\u201d as the atmosphere turned electric with emotion and pride.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The gathering included men, women, children, and the elderly, many waving the national flag and dressed in green and white, visibly moved by a deep sense of patriotism.<\/p>\n<p>Although the Pakistan side\u2019s stadium is still under construction and usually restricts public attendance, the turnout was overwhelming\u2014symbolising the nation\u2019s unity and support for its armed forces.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.tribune.com.pk\/media\/images\/wagah21746981608-0\/wagah21746981608-0.jpeg\" style=\"height:undefinedpx; width:undefinedpx\"\/><\/p>\n<p>As the parade ended, citizens showered flower petals on the brave soldiers of the Pakistan Rangers Punjab. The troops were adorned with garlands and greeted with chants of \u201cWe are proud of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elderly women kissed the foreheads of the soldiers in appreciation of their bravery and resilience. The Rangers stood tall, their eyes gleaming with pride.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.tribune.com.pk\/media\/images\/wagah51746981648-0\/wagah51746981648-0.jpeg\" style=\"height:undefinedpx; width:undefinedpx\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Maryam, a student from Lahore, expressed her emotions saying, \u201cWe are here to celebrate a glorious victory over India. I hope this ends Modi\u2019s warmongering fever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A young citizen, Hamza, added, \u201cOur army has shown not just India, but the entire world, that we Muslims fear none but Allah. India will now think a thousand times before threatening Pakistan again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another woman participant said with resolve, \u201cIndia will never even dream of waging war with Pakistan again. Our army has taught the enemy a lesson that will be remembered in history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.tribune.com.pk\/media\/images\/wagah1746981589-1\/wagah1746981589-1.jpeg\" style=\"height:undefinedpx; width:undefinedpx\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Parade Commander Nasir, while speaking to the media, recalled, \u201cSince tensions began with India, we\u2019ve been on full alert. We\u2019ve always said we fear no one but Allah. In 2019, we handed back Indian Wing Commander Abhinandan from this very border. Today, the enemy once again witnessed our strength.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cLocals used to bring us food during the nights, and today they are offering not just flowers, but their hearts. This love strengthens our morale.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ranger soldier Ali shared a moving account, \u201cWhen hostilities began and India launched an initial strike, my mother called and told me: \u2018Don\u2019t be afraid. If you have to lay down your life for the homeland, do so without hesitation. Take a bullet on your chest, not your back. Otherwise, I won\u2019t bless you with my milk.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe Rangers are ready for martyrdom,\u201d he affirmed. \u201cWe will foil every conspiracy of the enemy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.tribune.com.pk\/media\/images\/wagah11746981589-2\/wagah11746981589-2.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In stark contrast, the Indian side of the border was engulfed in silence. The stadium remained empty, and no BSF personnel participated in their customary parade. Only a quiet lowering of the Indian flag took place\u2014a sight that seemed to underscore the unease within Indian ranks and the absence of public support.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.tribune.com.pk\/media\/images\/wagah61746981648-1\/wagah61746981648-1.jpeg\" style=\"height:undefinedpx; width:undefinedpx\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Once again, the Wagah Border became a symbol of national unity and resolve.
