GAINESVILLE, Va., May 01, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation<\/a> (SPEC), the trusted global leader in computing benchmarks, today announced the availability of the SPECviewperf 15 benchmark<\/a>, a significant update to the worldwide standard for measuring graphics performance based on professional applications. The SPECviewperf 15 benchmark includes new graphics APIs for DirectX 12 and Vulkan, workloads for new industry use cases, and support for the latest versions of the currently represented applications. The extensive enhancements in this version of the benchmark enable users to understand how the latest versions of their applications will perform on the current generation of hardware.<\/p>\n

The SPECviewperf benchmark measures the 3D graphics performance of systems running under the OpenGL, DirectX, and Vulkan application programming interfaces (APIs).
