Mohsin Naqvi says Pakistan women\u2019s team won\u2019t travel to India for World Cup 2025<\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi clarified that the women\u2019s national cricket team would not visit India for the 2025 Women\u2019s World Cup, slated to be played later this year.<\/p>\n

Just after Pakistan\u2019s women\u2019s cricket team wrapped up their ICC Women\u2019s World Cup qualifier campaign unbeaten with a strong seven-wicket win over Bangladesh, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground to praise the team\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters, Naqvi made it clear that Pakistan\u2019s women\u2019s team will not travel to India for the World Cup. He referred to the \u201cFusion Formula,\u201d which was agreed upon before the ICC Men\u2019s Champions Trophy, and said that the same rule applies here.<\/p>\n

\u201cPakistan will not go to India. That decision has already been made,\u201d Naqvi stated.<\/p>\n

When asked about the possibility of a neutral venue for Pakistan\u2019s matches, he said it\u2019s up to the host country to decide but reiterated that the team will not play in India.<\/p>\n

Pakistan secured their World Cup spot earlier with an 87-run win over Thailand and capped off a flawless run in the qualifiers by defeating Bangladesh convincingly.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the Fatima Sana-led side\u2019s performance, Naqvi termed it the outcome of unity and shared that they will be rewarded for their brilliance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen a team is gelled in and plays like a unit, it produces such results. They will definitely be rewarded. They deserve it,\u201d Naqvi stated.<\/p>\n
