{"id":91939,"date":"2025-03-22T09:55:10","date_gmt":"2025-03-22T09:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/mustafa-amir-murder-accused-refuses-confession\/"},"modified":"2025-03-22T09:55:10","modified_gmt":"2025-03-22T09:55:10","slug":"mustafa-amir-murder-accused-refuses-confession","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/mustafa-amir-murder-accused-refuses-confession\/","title":{"rendered":"Mustafa Amir murder: Accused refuses confession"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>KARACHI: Police produced prime accused Armaghan before the Judicial Magistrate-South\u2019s court for confessional statement in Mustafa Amir murder case hearing on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The accused refused to confess the crime after which the court dismissed petition for confessional statement under section 164.<\/p>\n<p>Court said that the statement under 164 could not be recorded owing to the mental condition of the accused.<\/p>\n<p>Armaghan in his statement said that he killed Mustafa Amir over personal dispute. \u201cI didn\u2019t pre-plan the murder,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was a sudden act,\u201d Armaghan stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou will be sent to jail if you confess the crime or not,\u201d the court said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t want confess any crime,\u201d accused Armaghan said. \u201cPolice has used \u2018black magic\u2019 on me, owing to which I feel pain in the body,\u201d accused said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t kill Mustafa Amir, left him in the car only to set the front portion of the vehicle on fire,\u201d he said. \u201cI had left the matter of Mustafa Amir to God,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>After a while, accused said that he didn\u2019t directly kill the victim. \u201cIt was in his fate to die, I had a little part in it,\u201d Armaghan added.<\/p>\n<p>Mustafa Amir was kidnapped and allegedly murdered by his friends in Karachi\u2019s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on January 06.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police, the youth\u2019s friends stuffed his body in the trunk of his car and torched it in the Hub area of Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>The case has garnered widespread attention, with recent updates shedding light on the prime suspect, Armaghan.
