Houston, TX, March 10, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is growing its business practice group with\u00a0Houston<\/a>\u00a0tax<\/a>\u00a0partner\u00a0Robert (Bobby) Phillpott<\/a>\u00a0to support the increased demand in the corporate transactions space.<\/p>\n

Highly regarded for advising on complex corporate tax matters, Bobby counsels private equity and energy clients on tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, spin-offs and divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings and securities offerings. He also advises on the formation and operation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies as well as certain tax controversy matters.<\/p>\n

Bobby is the latest addition in a series of new hires by Norton Rose Fulbright to enhance its business practice, which added nine lateral partners in 2024 and promoted an additional seven partners in the US this year.
