Bollywood actor-dancer Nora Fatehi called out PR professionals targeting her and pulling her down to promote fellow actors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In her latest radio interview, Nora Fatehi opened up about her contemporaries and new actors doing dance numbers like her. However, while she was appreciative and confessed that some of them were really \u2018good and classy\u2019, the \u2018Street Dancer\u2019<\/em> actor slammed the PR agencies who\u2019ve using her name and pulling down her performances to promote others.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy logic is that everyone should be allowed to do songs, and everyone should act. But it should be fair for everybody. When I see these songs, you know what I like about them? That girls are coming out, being confident, being sexy, and trying to perform,\u201d she said. \u201cWhat I don\u2019t like is when everybody starts using my name as a marketing tool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fatehi furthered, \u201cSo when they want to market a song, they think, \u2018Let\u2019s compare it to Nora,\u2019 and I don\u2019t like that. All of the PR agencies are doing it. A new song is coming out? Cool, so they\u2019ll be like, \u2018Nora\u2019s career is over,\u2019 or \u2018She can eat 100 Noras for breakfast.\u2019 I know who\u2019s behind this, and I know how much you have to pay to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI get a lot of PR packages convincing me to do the same, but I refuse. I won\u2019t compare myself to anyone or bring someone else down. If a song is going to work, it should be because people appreciate my talent, not because they\u2019re excited to replace someone else -that\u2019s just ridiculous,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n

While the celebrity refrained from taking any names, social users had quite a few guesses to make on her statement. Reacting to her video, a netizen wrote, \u201cSharvari, Srileela, Rasha, and a few others had posts comparing them to Nora, and I also saw \u2018Nora\u2019s career is over\u2019 comments recently.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another commented, \u201cShe\u2019s talking about the \u2018Uui Amma<\/em>\u2018 girl (Rasha)\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

On the work front, Nora Fatehi is awaiting the release of Amazon Prime Video\u2019s \u2018Be Happy\u2019<\/em>, co-starring Inayat Verma, Abhishek Bachchan, Nassar, Johny Lever and Harleen Sethi. The dance drama, co-written and directed by Bollywood choreographer turned filmmaker Remo D\u2019Souza, will start streaming on March 14.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
