They first offered it to Akshaye Khanna, who turned it down, before eventually casting Bajpayee.<\/p>\n<p>Reports suggest that the creators initially envisioned Akshaye Khanna in the lead role. In November 2017, sources revealed that Khanna was in talks to headline the series, which was described as a socio-political thriller.<\/p>\n<p>Budgetary constraints and Khanna\u2019s substantial fee prevented the collaboration from materializing. Following the success of \u201cThe Family Man\u2019s\u201d first two seasons, anticipation for the third installment remains high.
