RAHIM YAR KHAN: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a significant meeting on Sunday with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen ties between the two nations.<\/p>\n

Both leaders emphasized their shared commitment to enhancing economic, political, and cultural relations. The discussions included a variety of key issues such as economic cooperation, regional stability, climate change, and increasing mutual influence on the global stage.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Sharif commended the UAE\u2019s leadership and its crucial role as a partner in Pakistan\u2019s development and investment sectors. He highlighted Pakistan\u2019s eagerness to expand cooperation in renewable energy, technology, trade, infrastructure, and skill development.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed the UAE\u2019s interest in further collaboration with Pakistan, especially in the areas of mining, minerals, and agriculture.<\/p>\n

He acknowledged Pakistan\u2019s impressive economic progress and the stabilization of its economy under Prime Minister Sharif\u2019s leadership, believing it has opened up opportunities for greater bilateral investment.<\/p>\n

Both leaders also underscored the importance of people-to-people connections and mutual prosperity, with Sheikh Mohammed reiterating the UAE\u2019s commitment to Pakistan. He expressed appreciation for Pakistan\u2019s ongoing partnership, particularly in humanitarian and developmental assistance.<\/p>\n

In a gesture of continued friendship, Prime Minister Sharif thanked the UAE for its consistent support during critical times, especially in humanitarian aid. The two reaffirmed their commitment to fostering peace and collaboration within the region and vowed to work closely on areas of shared interest.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Ms. Maryam Nawaz, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi.<\/p>\n

Following the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his satisfaction in a post on X, saying, \u201cDelighted to meet with my dear brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, today in Rahimyar Khan.
