Pakistan\u2019s star cricketers, Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi, are on the verge of achieving significant milestones as the team prepares to face South Africa in the first T20I in Durban.<\/p>\n

Babar Azam, currently in second place for the most runs in T20I cricket, is just 39 runs away from becoming the all-time leading run-scorer in T20Is.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old has scored 4,192 runs in 126 matches and is set to surpass India\u2019s Rohit Sharma, who holds the record with 4,231 runs in 159 matches.<\/p>\n

With Rohit retiring after the 2024 T20 World Cup, Babar\u2019s record-breaking moment is expected soon. Virat Kohli, also retiring from the format, sits third with 4,188 runs.<\/p>\n
