{"id":87058,"date":"2024-11-13T22:23:10","date_gmt":"2024-11-13T22:23:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/anti-narcotics-force-recovers-643-kg-drugs-in-10-raids-the-express-tribune\/"},"modified":"2024-11-13T22:23:10","modified_gmt":"2024-11-13T22:23:10","slug":"anti-narcotics-force-recovers-643-kg-drugs-in-10-raids-the-express-tribune","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/anti-narcotics-force-recovers-643-kg-drugs-in-10-raids-the-express-tribune\/","title":{"rendered":"Anti-Narcotics Force recovers 643 kg drugs in 10 raids | The Express Tribune"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"\">\n<figure class=\"flex items-center text-center\"><figcaption class=\"text-3 font-sans uppercase mr-3 whitespace-no-wrap\"><span class=\"ls-art\">Listen\u00a0to\u00a0article<\/span><\/figcaption><audio class=\"h-5 w-60 sm:w-80 rounded-none\" preload=\"metadata\" controlslist=\"noplaybackrate nodownload\" id=\"tts\" controls=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.tribune.com.pk\/attachments\/speech_20240912105458070-pFzQN.mp3\"\/><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting 10 operations across the country managed to recover 643 kg drugs and arrested 10 accused including a woman, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He informed that 643 kg drugs worth more than Rs 80 million were recovered from the possession of 10 accused including a woman arrested from different areas.<\/p>\n<p>Around 2.4 kg hashish was recovered from the possession of an accused near arrested near an educational institution located in Chaklala Scheme 3, Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile another 170 grams of hashish was recovered from an accused rounded up near a university in Peshawar.<\/p>\n<p>In the third operation, 97 grams hashish was recovered from the possession of a drug dealer netted in a slum area near a school in Faisalabad.<\/p>\n<p>Around 200 intoxicating\u00a0tablets were recovered from two suspects arrested in two operations near a College and a university in satellite town Quetta.<\/p>\n<p>The arrested accused confessed supplying drugs to students of educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesman further informed that in another operation, 24 kg opium and 2.4 kg hashish were recovered from a vehicle intercepted near Motorway Toll Plaza <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.app.com.pk\/national\/anf-recovers-643-kg-drugs-in-10-operations\/#\">Islamabad<\/a> and an accused was arrested.<br \/>Another 2.4 kg hashish was recovered from an accused going on a motorcycle on Rawat Road, Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile ANF personnel also recovered 244.8 kg opium and 357.6 kg hashish\u00a0from a vehicle that was intercepted near Samundri Interchange Faisalabad.\u00a0At least two\u00a0suspects\u00a0were arrested during the operation.<\/p>\n<p>In another operation, 66 grams of heroin was recovered from a parcel booked for Maldives at a courier office located on Faisal Road, Karachi.<\/p>\n<p>In the final\u00a0operation, 8 kg of hashish was recovered from an accused arrested near Qasim Chowk in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n<p>Separate cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Listen\u00a0to\u00a0article Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting 10 operations across the country managed to recover 643 kg drugs and arrested 10 accused including a woman, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Thursday.
