The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) has made a significant strides in streamlining its operations with the launch of its new licensing portal, which according to the council, will help achieving unprecedented efficiency and high success rates in case processing.<\/p>\n
Since the portal\u2019s inception a few months ago, the PM&DC has significantly expedited the processing and issuance of various certifications, demonstrating a strong commitment to timely and transparent service delivery for medical professionals across Pakistan.<\/p>\n
As of the latest data up till now 73,361 out of 75,279 cases have been completed and issued by the PM&DC. These cases included Change in Data\/Licenses, Extension of Provisional Certificates, Full Registration Certificates, Good Standing Certificates, Provisional Licenses, provisional licenses for Foreign Graduates, Renewal of license and Registration of postgraduate qualifications.<\/p>\n
These numbers represent a high rate of processing efficiency, underscoring PM&DC\u2019s dedication to service enhancement for the medical community. The portal\u2019s user-friendly interface and streamlined back-end processing have resulted in quicker turnaround times and greater accessibility for medical professionals.<\/p>\n
PM&DC remains committed to continuous improvement and digital innovation, ensuring that the needs of the medical fraternity are met swiftly and effectively. The Council extends its gratitude to all stakeholders involved in making the portal a success and looks forward to setting even higher service delivery standards in the future.<\/p>\n
PM&DC has taken a pivotal step to streamline the recognition of teaching experience for medical professionals. A portal for the same has been recently launched through which targeted measures and accelerated processing, PM&DC has greatly reduced the time required for medical professionals to receive formal recognition of their teaching experience This progress will not only benefits medical educators but also enhance the broader healthcare sector by recognizing and empowering skilled educators more swiftly.<\/p>\n
Reforms have also been implemented to ensure that the teaching experience of medical faculty is promptly verified and approved. The President\u2019s hands-on approach has been instrumental in overcoming delays, paving the way for an efficient and applicant-centered system.<\/p>\n
In a major step towards modernizing operational infrastructure, the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) is set to introduce a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system aimed at fully automating in-house secretariat functions. This initiative will streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the Council\u2019s capacity to address emerging challenges through cutting-edge technology.<\/p>\n
PM&DC is also determined to advance its systems, emphasizing the importance of automation in the current digital age. \u201cPM&DC is on the way to launching an ERP system that will significantly enhance secretariat\u2019s in-house operations. Keeping in mind the new challenges.<\/p>\n
