Present at the briefing were the center\u2019s head, Muhammad Iqbal Qasmani, and renowned hematologist Ghulam Sarwar.<\/p>\n<p>Parents of these children expressed immense grati-tude, describing Saylani\u2019s work as a beacon of hope. \u201cIt was an agonizing experience; words can\u2019t de-scribe the hardship we endured. For the past two years, we\u2019ve only needed to come here for medica-tion,\u201d one parent shared. Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri announced that, by God\u2019s grace, a viable treatment for thalassemia now exists in Pakistan without the need for bone marrow transplants.
