[The space ship] opens almost like a clam and then I\u2019m inside. I\u2019m gonna shut my eyes. I don\u2019t wanna see,\u201d said Niplitano. \u201cThere were these creatures around me and they were examining my stomach. One of them came after me with a needle the length of a turkey baster\u2026I didn\u2019t want to believe that I was a lab rat being experimented on. But after a while, I just couldn\u2019t deny it anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe title=\"The Manhattan Alien Abduction | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aJITrkLe0IA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>She later told her claim to late UFO researcher Budd Hopkins who published a book about her account, \u201cWitnessed: The True Story of the Brooklyn Bridge UFO Abductions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/arynews.tv\/baby-reindeer-involved-dramatisation-confesses-netflix\/\">\u2018Baby Reindeer\u2019 clearly involved dramatisation, confesses Netflix<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Years after her first claim, Linda Napolitano alleged that the extraterrestrials returned to Earth and targeted her family, giving them \u201cnosebleeds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hopkins in his book alleged that at least 23 people witnessed Napolitano floating in the Manhattan skyline like Criss Angel.<\/p>\n<p>She also had her son Johnny, who appeared onscreen with a hidden identity, back up her story that her family was also targeted by aliens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s got to be the most terrifying and hopeless thing that I\u2019ve ever felt. So I was very reluctant to even start talking about this again. It\u2019s been over 30 years since I sat down and seriously talked about this to anyone but my therapist,\u201d he said, with his face obscured onscreen.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Manhattan Alien Abduction\u2019 shows Budd Hopkins\u2019s widow, Carol Rainey cast doubts Napolitano\u2019s account of her nose injury during her alleged encounter with aliens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had access to all of Budd\u2019s original source material so I started building a library of hypnosis sessions that Budd was doing with people. I listened to the phone call that Budd had with her son Johnny and I could hear are a couple of points where he pauses and you\u2019re not sure why,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n<p>Rainey\u2019s take on Napolitano\u2019s claims in \u2018The Manhattan Alien Abduction\u2019 seemed to have pushed her to file a lawsuit against Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>In the court filing, the woman alleged that Netflix featured Rainey as an \u201cexpert,\u201d when she was allegedly an \u201cembittered, alcoholic ex-wife hell bent on revenge against her husband.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Linda Napolitano alleged that the docuseries sets her up as \u201ca villain for purposes of controversy and conflict and The Manhattan Alien Abduction will destroy her reputation as an honest and decent person.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script
