In a cover story interview with People Magazine, Neeson openly discussed the characters he has played, and his retirement plans, and shared insights about the upcoming Naked Gun reboot.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with the media outlet, Liam Neeson reflected on how he connected with audiences and rapidly built a strong fan base as an action star. The Hollywood actor revealed, \u201cIt just seemed to have touched something in the psychic nerve of moviegoing audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Besides his roles as a romantic hero and action star, Liam Neeson has starred in several films set in legal and courtroom settings. The *Schindler\u2019s List* actor recently served jury duty at a Northern Ireland court. He revealed that he wasn\u2019t chosen for the trial, so he spent his time reading a Patricia Cornwell novel on his Kindle while waiting for the clerk to dismiss him.<\/p>\n<p>Describing his experience, the actor recounted, \u201cThe clerk is calling, I don\u2019t know, 55 or 60 of us. He gets to me, but all I hear is, \u2018I have a particular set of skills. Skills that would make me\u2026\u2019 And I thought, \u2018Oh f\u2014 no.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Neeson revealed that he may soon retire from performing action scenes, shedding light on his plans for stepping back from such roles. During the conversation with the media outlet, the action hero revealed, \u201cI\u2019m 72\u2014it has to stop at some stage. You can\u2019t fool audiences. I don\u2019t want Mark to be fighting my fight scenes for me.\u201d Neeson may step away from action roles as early as 2025, though he has yet to confirm his retirement plans officially.<\/p>\n<p>Before retiring from acting, \u201cThe Grey\u201d star will appear in the upcoming reboot of \u201cThe Naked Gun\u201d, which has already wrapped filming. Neeson stars alongside Pamela Anderson, and he shared his admiration for his co-star, saying, \u201cI\u2019m madly in love with her. I can\u2019t compliment her enough.
