A series of cultural events took place across Lahore in honour of September 6, Pakistan’s Defense Day, to pay tribute to the soldiers and officers of the Pakistan Army.<\/p>\n

These events, which attracted large crowds, reflected the nation’s gratitude to those who have sacrificed their lives for the country’s defense.<\/p>\n

At the Lahore Arts Council’s Alhamra Hall, a special photo exhibition was held alongside patriotic song performances. The exhibition, which featured over 25 art pieces, was inaugurated by poet Sofia Baidar and Alhamra’s Executive Director Sara Rasheed.<\/p>\n

The art pieces resonated with visitors, highlighting the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.<\/p>\n

Simultaneously, the song programme, performed by young artists, struck a patriotic chord, stirring emotions and reigniting the spirit of the historic day.<\/p>\n

A significant highlight of the day was the release of a new Defence Day anthem titled Mitti (Soil), performed by famed Pakistani singer Raja Rap Star.<\/p>\n

The anthem’s lyrics, “Mitti se jude insaan hain yeh” (These people are connected to the soil), underscore the deep connection between the people and the land of Pakistan. The song showcases the courage of Pakistan’s soldiers, featuring visuals of brave men fighting on the frontlines.<\/p>\n

At the end of the video, soldiers who have been awarded the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan’s highest military honour, were honoured for their ultimate sacrifices.
