Following reports of Bollywood star Salman Khan\u2019s cameo in Ajay Devgn\u2019s \u201cSingham Again,\u201d fans uncovered a video of Rohit Shetty, revealing his old connection to the movie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier, several Indian media outlets reported that director Rohit Shetty convinced the \u201cTiger\u201d actor to reprise his role as Chulbul Pandey<\/a> once again for the highly-anticipated cop movie.<\/p>\n

\u2018Singham Again,\u2019 set to hit theatres on November 1, will see Ajay Devgn reprising his role as DCP Bajirao Singham.<\/p>\n

Now, fans have dug out an old video of Shetty where he revealed that Salman Khan\u2019s 2009 movie \u201cWanted\u201d inspired him to make the \u201cSingham\u201d franchise.<\/p>\n

In the video, Rohit Shetty recalls, \u201cI\u2019ll tell you what. I made Singham because of Wanted. That was a phase when multiplex had come in. It was 2009, I was making All The Best. PVR had just opened up, new. And that time nobody was making mass action films. And Wanted was one underdog which came.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Bollywood director, he visited a theatre to watch the action flick and was taken by surprise seeing kids clapping and whistling while watching the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018the time has come back to make mass entertainer because now claps and whistling also occur in multiplex.\u2019 And then, we made Singham in 2011,\u201d Rohit Shetty added.<\/p>\n

The ensemble cast of \u2018Singham Again\u2019 also includes several Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor.<\/p>\n

The movie is the third in the \u2018Singham\u2019 franchise and a sequel to \u201cSingham Returns.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Bollywood star Salman Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film \u2018Sikandar,\u2019 alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna.<\/p>\n

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the action movie will be released on Eid 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
