Strong Monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea penetrate the southern &amp; eastern parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave prevails over northwestern parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"selectable-text\">Under these weather conditions, <span class=\"selectable-text1\">monsoon rains are predicted in Multan, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur, Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Muzaffargarh, Lahore, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Khushab and Jhelum on Sunday night. Heavy falls are predicted at isolated places in southern districts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectable-text\"><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\"><span class=\"selectable-text1\">On Monday, more intermittent monsoon rains are predicted in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Kasur, Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum Taunsa, Leh, Dera Ghazi Khan and Khushab. Heavy falls may also occur at isolated places in northeastern districts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Torrential rains will likely generate flash flooding in local nullahs\/streams\/hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan, Koh Sulaiman. Downpours may cause urban flooding in low-lying areas of south Punjab. Landslides may disrupt traffic in the vulnerable hilly areas of Murree and Galliyat.<\/p>\n<p>Lahore\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 34-36\u00b0C on Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, rains with isolated heavy falls occurred in Lahore and parts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rainfall (mm): <\/strong>Lahore (Airport 60, City 04), Kot Addu 37, Dera Ghazi Khan 36, Khanewal 35, Multan (City 23, Airport 20), Rahim Yar Khan 12, Sheikhupura 11, Bhakkar 10, Mandi Bahauddin 09, Sargodha, Jhang 08, Layyah 05, Khanpur 04, Bahawalnagar, Narowal, Sahiwal 03, Bahawalpur (City 04, Airport 02), Islamabad (Airport, Golra), Joharabad, Jhelum, Chakwal, Toba Tek Singh 01<b\/><\/p>\n<p>In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 35\u00b0C.
