He requested anonymity since he was not authorised to speak to the media.<\/p>\n<p>CTD personnel timely acted and saved the city from major terror bid, he mentioned. Senior police officials reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.<\/p>\n<p>Bomb disposal squad was also called in the area to defuse explosives, police said.
