The government introduced the policy change in the fiscal year 2024-25 budget, resulting in increased prices for vehicles like the\u00a0Honda<\/a>\u00a0City across the country.<\/p>\n

The ex-factory price of Honda City 1.2LS MT stands at 4,649,000, Honda CityLS CVT Rs4,689,000,\u00a0Honda<\/a>\u00a0City 1.5LS CVT Rs5,439,000 and City Aspire 1.5 LAC CVT\u2019s ex-factory price stands at Rs5,849,000.<\/p>\n

For vehicles with engine capacities ranging from 1001 to 1300cc, it imposes a 1.5% withholding tax on filers and 4.5% on non-filers. Vehicles with engine capacities between 1301 and 1600 cc face a 2% withholding tax for filers and 6% for non-filers.<\/p>\n
