Zee5 and Zee Zindagi, known for featuring Pakistani content, have recently faced controversy with their series Barzakh<\/em>. While previous shows like Abdullahpur Ka Devdas<\/em> and Mrs & Mr Shamim<\/em> enjoyed positive responses, Barzakh<\/em> has encountered significant backlash due to its depiction of queer themes.<\/p>\n

In recent days, Barzakh<\/em> has sparked widespread debate, with many viewers expressing discomfort over the show\u2019s portrayal of queerness and its potential impact on younger audiences. This criticism has largely focused on concerns about normalizing queer themes in media and the influence of such content on children.<\/p>\n

In response to the backlash, both Zee Zindagi and the Barzakh<\/em> team have decided to remove the series from YouTube Pakistan.<\/p>\n
