A trough of westerly wave prevails over northern parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Under these conditions, monsoon rains are expected in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan on Tuesday night. Heavy falls may occur in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Mandi Bahaudin, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore and Hafizabad.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, more intermittent monsoon rains are expected in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Khushab, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bhakkar and Dera Ghazi Khan. Heavy falls may occur in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Mandi Bahaudin, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore and Hafizabad.<\/p>\n<p>Lahore\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 33-35\u00b0C on Wednesday and 34-36\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, rain-wind\/thundershowers occurred at a few places in northeast\/south Punjab during the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rainfall (mm):<\/strong> Rahim Yar Khan 18, Chakwal, Joharabad 12, Khanpur 11, Gujrat 08, Khanpur 03, Jhang 01<\/p>\n<p>Attock, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sargodha remained the hottest places in Punjab where the maximum temperature was recorded at 39\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Multan was recorded at 38\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 36\u00b0C.
