Netflix has revealed that \u201cBridgerton\u201d season 4 will focus on the love story of Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Benedict had been missing from the centre story in the recent seasons, the upcoming season will see him finding their soulmate, a US media outlet reported.<\/p>\n

Season 4 will be based on Julia Quinn\u2019s third \u2018Bridgerton\u2019 novel titled \u201cAn Offer From a Gentleman\u201d.<\/p>\n

The novel revolves around Benedict searching for a \u201clady in silver\u201d he had met who is a low-born woman named Sophie Beckett.<\/p>\n

Netflix in the logline of the upcoming season confirmed that Benedict\u2019s love interest is still that woman.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fourth season of \u2018Bridgerton\u2019 turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down \u2014 until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother\u2019s masquerade ball,\u201d the description of the season 4 read.<\/p>\n

The Regency-era romance series is based on the books by Julia Quinn, with each focusing on a sibling of the Bridgerton family.<\/p>\n

It is pertinent to mention that \u2018Bridgerton\u2019 season 3 skipped the third book in Quinn\u2019s series about Benedict Bridgerton to focus on Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan).<\/p>\n

\u2018Bridgerton\u2019, developed by Shonda Rhimes\u2019 television production company Shondaland and Netflix, follows the romantic journeys of the Bridgerton family as they navigate London\u2019s ruthless marriage market.<\/p>\n

Set in the early 1800s, the story focuses on the scandals and successes of the social season as young marriageable nobility looks for love.<\/p>\n

Talking about the experience of filming for season 3, Nicola Coughlan said that she felt relaxed while watching the couples from the first two seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs supporting actors, you can go, \u2018I\u2019ll do my little bit but it doesn\u2019t really matter because the main story is over there,\u2019\u201d she told a US media outlet.<\/p>\n

However, that was no longer the case when she and Newton stepped forward as the leading couple for the third season of the Emmy-nominated show.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us to then go into being the main story, I think it overwhelms us still,\u201d said the Irish actress.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
