KARACHI \u2013 Rain-wind\/thunderstorms and expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Monday night and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal penetrate upper\/central parts of Pakistan. It will likely strengthen from tomorrow (evening\/night). A trough of westerly wave also prevails over upper parts of the country.<\/p>\n

Under these conditions, rain-wind\/thunderstorms are expected at isolated places in Umarkot, Naushero Feroze, Khairpur, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mithi, Sanghar, Larkana, Dadu, Padidan, Jamshoro, Karachi, Thatta, Badin and Sajawal on Monday night.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, mainly hot and very humid weather is expected in most districts of the province. However, rain-wind\/thunderstorms are expected at isolated places in Umarkot, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Dadu, Larkana, Jamshoro, Mithi, Sanghar, Karachi, Thatta, Badin and Sajawal during evening\/night.<\/p>\n

Karachi\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 38-40\u00b0C on Tuesday and 36-38\u00b0C on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Hyderabad\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 38-40\u00b0C on Tuesday and 41-43\u00b0C on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, hot and humid weather prevailed in most districts of the province during the last 24 hours. However, rain-wind\/thundershowers occurred in Karachi and parts of Sindh.<\/p>\n

Rainfall (mm):<\/strong> Badin 10, Chhor 06, Karachi (Gadap 04, Jinnah Terminal 02, Faisal Base, Malir Halt, Met Complex, MOS 01)<\/p>\n

Dadu, Jacobabad and Rohri remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 45\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 38\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 79 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 42\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 65 per cent.<\/p>\n
