A westerly wave affects upper parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Under these weather conditions, monsoon rains and gusty winds are predicted in the twin cities and at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, lower Sindh, northeast Punjab, Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Tuesday night and Wednesday with occasional gaps. Hot and humid weather is predicted elsewhere in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 38-40\u00b0C on Wednesday and 37-39\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Rawalpindi\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 37-39\u00b0C on Wednesday and 36-38\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. However, rain-wind\/thundershowers occurred at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, lower Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rainfall (mm):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: <\/strong>Dir (Upper 28, Lower 09), Kalam 08, Bacha Khan Airport 06, Chitral, Peshawar, Saidu Sharif 02, Cherat, Drosh, Malam Jabba 01<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sindh:<\/strong> Tharparkar (Dhali 22, Islamkot 18, Chachro 12, Nagarparkar 08), Chhor 20, Mithi 06, Karachi (Surjani Town, Jinnah Terminal 01)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gilgit-Baltistan:<\/strong> Bunji 01<\/p>\n<p>Nokkundi remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 47\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Dalbandin was recorded at 45\u00b0C, and Turbat at 44\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 39\u00b0C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 72 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 38\u00b0C.
