ISLAMABAD \u2013 More rains and gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Sunday night and Monday.<\/p>\n

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), light to moderate monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal penetrate the upper\/central parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave prevails over the upper parts of the country.<\/p>\n

Under these weather conditions, more rains and gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Eastern\/South Punjab, Upper\/central Sindh, Northeast\/South Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

On Monday, isolated rains are expected in the twin cities, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast\/South Punjab, Potohar region, Sindh, Northeast\/South Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan. Heavy falls may also occur at isolated places during the period. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.<\/p>\n

Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35-37\u00b0C on Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Rawalpindi\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35-37\u00b0C on Monday and 36-38\u00b0C on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, rain-wind\/thundershowers occurred in Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northeast Balochistan. Hot and humid weather prevailed elsewhere in the country.<\/p>\n

Turbat remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 49\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Dalbandin was recorded at 43\u00b0C and Nokkundi at 42\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 34\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 96 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 34\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 52 per cent.<\/p>\n
