LAHORE \u2013 More rain-wind\/thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls are predicted in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Monday evening\/night, Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), moist currents from Arabian Sea are penetrating upper parts of Pakistan and are likely to strengthen on Tuesday. A trough of shallow westerly wave will likely approach upper parts of the country on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Under these weather conditions,\u00a0more rain-wind\/thunderstorms are predicted at isolated places in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Attock, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Pakpattan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Leh, Bhakkar, Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar on Monday evening\/night.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, more rain-wind\/thunderstorms are predicted at isolated places in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Attock, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Pakpattan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the province.<\/p>\n

Lahore\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 40-42\u00b0C on Tuesday and 41-43\u00b0C on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, rain-wind\/thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls occurred in Lahore and parts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Hot and humid weather prevailed elsewhere in the province.<\/p>\n

Bhakkar remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 47\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Sahiwal was recorded at 43\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 37\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 96 per cent.<\/p>\n
