ISLAMABAD \u2013 Rain-wind\/thunderstorms are predicted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Tuesday evening\/night and the following two days with occasional gaps.<\/p>\n

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under these conditions, windstorm\/thunderstorm-rain is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, southeast Sindh and northeast Balochistan on Tuesday evening\/night.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday<\/span> and Thursday, windstorm\/thunderstorm-rain is likely in the twin cities and at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh.<\/p>\n

Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 38-40\u00b0C on Wednesday and 39-41\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Rawalpindi\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 38-40\u00b0C on Wednesday and 39-41\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in Gupis 03mm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turbat remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 49\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Dadu was recorded at 48\u00b0C, Sibbi, Lasbella, Khairpur<\/span> at 47\u00b0C, and Rohri, Padidan, Noor Pur Thal, Mohenjo Daro, Larkana, Chhor and Bahawalpur<\/span> at 46\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 42\u00b0C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 32 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 42\u00b0C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 23 per cent.<\/p>\n
