ISLAMABAD \u2013 Isolated rain-wind\/thunderstorms are likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of Pakistan on Wednesday evening\/night, Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n

Per Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weak moist currents from Arabian Sea are penetrating central parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave also prevails over upper parts.<\/p>\n

Under these weather conditions, rain-wind\/thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Potohar region, northeast Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday evening\/night and the following two days. Hot and humid weather is likely elsewhere in the country.<\/p>\n

Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 39-41\u00b0C on Thursday and 38-40\u00b0C on Friday.<\/p>\n

Rawalpindi\u2019s maximum temperature will likely remain between 38-40\u00b0C on Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country and very hot in central\/southern parts during the last 24 hours. However, rain-wind\/thunderstorms occurred at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, Potohar region and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n

Sibbi remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 48\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Gujranwala was recorded at 47\u00b0C, Dera Iismail Khan, Mandi Bahauddin and Dadu at 46\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 41\u00b0C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 50 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, maximum temperature was recorded at 40\u00b0C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 36 per cent.<\/p>\n
