Three separate attacks in Dera Ismail Khan and Kurram tribal district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Sunday left three people injured.<\/p>\n

In the initial incident, unidentified assailants targeted a police post near the toll plaza, taking advantage of the dense fog in the area. Despite the challenging conditions, the police successfully repulsed the attack, engaging in a firefight that lasted about 20 minutes. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported in this incident.<\/p>\n

In a parallel occurrence, two individuals sustained injuries in a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) attack on an official vehicle in the Kulachi area of DI Khan.<\/p>\n

The attack unfolded in the Loni area of Kulachi, prompting security forces to swiftly cordon off the entire locality. Preliminary investigations indicated that the IED was a remote-controlled device strategically planted along the roadside. Both wounded individuals were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.<\/p>\n

In a separate and unfortunate incident in the Sadda area of Kurram district, a child named Zainullah, aged 10, suffered injuries due to a mortar shell explosion. The injured child was taken to the hospital for necessary medical care.<\/p>\n
