ISLAMABAD \u2013 More rains, gusty winds are likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Friday evening\/night.<\/p>\n

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over Pakistan\u2019s upper and central parts. It will likely move eastwards during the next 12-18 hours.<\/p>\n

Under these weather conditions, more rains and gusty winds are likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, central\/south Punjab, Pothohar region, northeast\/south Balochistan and upper\/central Sindh on Friday evening\/night.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind\/thunderstorms are likely at isolated places of Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, central\/south Punjab, northeast\/south Balochistan and upper\/central Sindh during evening\/night. Gusty\/dust-raising winds are likely in country\u2019s plains during evening\/night.<\/p>\n

Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 38-40\u00b0C on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, rain-wind\/thunderstorms occurred in the twin cities and at isolated places in upper\/central Sindh, Punjab, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, south Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan during the last 24 hours. Hot and dry weather prevailed elsewhere in the country.<\/p>\n

Kashmir: <\/strong>Garhi Dupta 09, Muzaffarabad (City 05, Airport 04)<\/p>\n

Balochistan: <\/strong>Lasbella 04, Gilgit-Baltistan: Astore, Gupis and Chilas 01<\/p>\n

Jacobabad remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 44\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Dadu and Mohenjo-Daro was recorded at 43\u00b0C, Sibbi, Tando Jam, Rohri, Shaheed Benazirabad and Bahawalpur at 42\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 32 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 22 per cent.<\/p>\n
