Very hot weather and gusty winds are likely in country\u2019s plains during the period.<\/p>\n<p>Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 40-42\u00b0C on Wednesday and 38-40\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Rawalpindi\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 38-40\u00b0C on Wednesday and 36-38\u00b0C on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, hot and dry prevailed in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. However, rain-wind\/thunderstorms occurred at isolated places of upper Punjab and Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rainfall (mm): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Punjab: <\/strong>Joharabad 10, Hafizabad 08, Sargodha 07, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin 03, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Lahore, Silakot, Gujrat, Jhelum 01<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kashmir: K<\/strong>otli, Rawalakot 03<\/p>\n<p>Bhakkar and Kot Addu remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 48\u00b0C. Maximum temperature in Dera Ghazi Khan, Dadu, Jacobabad, Sibbi, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala and Noorpur Thal was recorded at 47\u00b0C, Mohenjo-Daro, Dera Ismail Khan, Hafizabad, Narowal, Sargodha, Jhelum, Joharabad, Layyah, Khanewal and Nokkundi at 46\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42\u00b0C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 24 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42\u00b0C.
