ISLAMABAD \u2013 More rain-wind\/thunderstorms with isolated hailstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Monday evening\/night and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a strong westerly wave prevails over upper parts of Pakistan. It will likely persist during the next 24 to 36 hours.<\/p>\n

Under these conditions, more rain-wind\/thunderstorms with isolated hailstorms are expected in the twin cities, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Monday evening\/night and Tuesday. Heavy falls are also likely at few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas. Dry weather with gusty winds is likely elsewhere in the country.<\/p>\n

Heavy rainfall may generate flash floods in local nullahs\/streams of Dir, Swat, Chitral, Manshera, Kohistan and Kashmir. Landslides are also likely in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galyat, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Windstorms\/hailstorms and lightning may affect human lives, standing crops, and loose structures like electric poles and solar panels.<\/p>\n

Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 30-32 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 33-35 C on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, rain-wind\/thunderstorms occurred in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab during the last 24 hours. Hailstorm also occurred at few places in Potohar region, Islamabad, Murree, Galyat and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n

Punjab:<\/strong> Islamabad (Golra 19, Zero Point 13, Airport 08, Bokra 06 & Saidpur 05), Murree 17, Attock 10, Joharabad 05, Rawalpindi (Chaklala, Kacheri & Shamsabad 04), Mandi Bahauddin 04, Sialkot (Airport & City 03), Chakwal 03, Kasur 02, Bahawalnagar, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Mangla, Narowal 01<\/p>\n

Chhor remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 41 C. In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 27 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 62 per cent.<\/p>\n
