QUETTA:<\/strong>\u00a0In a recent high-level meeting chaired by Balochistan\u2019s new Home Minister, Mir Ziaullah Langove, a thorough review of security arrangements was undertaken. Joined by top officials, including Additional Chief Secretary Home Zahid Saleem, the session delved into a comprehensive assessment of the security landscape in the region.<\/p>\n

Minister Langove stressed the urgency for collective efforts to uphold law and order, declaring an end to senseless loss of lives. Key discussions revolved around strategies to combat terrorism, smuggling, and illegal activities, with stringent measures announced against corruption within security forces.<\/p>\n

Enhanced coordination between police and Levies forces was emphasized, alongside the adoption of biometric systems to improve attendance and deter absenteeism. The meeting also addressed underperforming departments, with Minister Langove urging adherence to protocols and timely relief for detainees.<\/p>\n

Reaffirming the government\u2019s steadfast commitment, participants echoed a resolute stance against terrorism. Director General Levies Force Naseebullah Kakar, IG Prisons Shuja Kasi, and other senior officials pledged dedication to combat militancy under the Chief Minister\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
