I always told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bolnews.com\/sports\/cricket\/psl\/2024\/03\/mohammad-amir-fumes-over-fixer-chants-during-psl-9-match-against-qalandars\/\">Amir<\/a> that you should play cricket for Pakistan,\u201d Sarfaraz stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s better late than never and they came at the right time as Pakistan needs them. So, I hope that their return would surely benefit the Pakistan team,\u201d he further added.<\/p>\n<p>The former skipper also underscored that the continued presence of the left-arm would have been greatly beneficial for both the player and the team.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the criticism, Sarfaraz expressed optimism that Amir\u2019s presence would be advantageous for the Pakistan team in the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, I advised Amir at that time too that we should not leave our field,\u201d he mentioned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, he must have his set of reservations due to which he might have thought he should not play anymore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut, wherever he played cricket, he played it really well.
