Continuing his promotional tour for his latest album, “Utopia,” Travis Scott made an appearance on Saturday Night Live.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For his performance of “My Eyes,” Scott opted for an understated approach, lying flat on a stage platform against a space-themed backdrop, appearing to \u201cascend\u201d into space.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Halfway through, Scott stood up as the beat transformed, raising energy levels in preparation for his next song.<\/p>\n

Following a minimalistic, yet dramatic performance of \u201cMy Eyes\u201d, was a high-energy performance of \u201cFE!N\u201d, featuring Playboi Carti.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The camerawork, synced to the beat of the song and the rappers\u2019 movement, elevated the act in a nod to the music video, released only hours prior to the performance.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with GQ, Scott disclosed his original vision for “Utopia” as a theatrical production, seeking advice from playwright Jeremy O. Harris to adapt the album for the stage.<\/p>\n

Scott added, \u201cI was trying to take Broadway\u2014because the thing about Broadway theaters. They\u2019re kind of small\u2014I was trying to bring the idea of Broadway to bigger venues.
