ISLAMABAD \u2013 More rain-wind\/thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Thursday evening\/night, Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over Pakistan\u2019s central and upper parts. It will likely persist till March 31.<\/p>\n

Under the influence of these conditions, more rain-wind\/thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, central\/upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and northern Balochistan on Thursday evening\/night, Friday and Saturday. Duststorms\/dust-raising winds are likely in southern parts of the country.<\/p>\n

Moderate to heavy rainfall may trigger upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galiyat, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan landslides. Windstorm\/hailstorms and lightning may damage standing crops, and loose structures like electric poles and solar panels. Tourists and farmers are advised to remain cautious during the wet period. Temperatures are likely to drop during the wet spell.<\/p>\n

Islamabad\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 24-26 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

Rawalpindi\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 25-27 C on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, rainfall occurred in the twin cities and parts of Pakistan during the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Kashmir: <\/strong>Rawalakot 06, Garhi Dupta 01, Muzaffarabad (City, Airport 01)<\/p>\n

Gilgit-Baltistan: <\/strong>Astore 05, Bagrote, Skardu 02, Gilgit and Gupis 01<\/p>\n

Nawabshah remained the hottest place in the country where the maximum temperature reached 42 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 61 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Islamabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 26 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 81 per cent.<\/p>\n

Rawalpindi recorded a maximum temperature of 26 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 77 per cent.<\/p>\n
