A woman who was set on fire by her husband and mother in law in Ichra earlier this week succumbed to her injuries. <\/span><\/p>\n

The victim, Faiza Liaqat, was undergoing treatment at hospital. The victim married Asad around two years ago and the couple had a son. <\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, she returned to her parents\u2019 home after a dispute with her in-laws. However, she returned home after reconciling with her husband and his family. <\/span><\/p>\n

On September 17th, Asad and the victim\u2019s mother-in-law, Uzma Bibi, allegedly set the victim on fire. <\/span><\/p>\n

She sustained burn injuries and was admitted to hospital for treatment, but succumbed to her injuries on Saturday. Police arrested the suspects and were investigating the matter further.<\/p>\n
