BRUSSELS: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday held a meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing wherein the latter underlined that China would assist Pakistan in stabilizing its financial situation, ARY News reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the meeting held on the sidelines of the First Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels, both sides agreed on the importance of the longstanding cooperation between Pakistan and China in civil nuclear technology.<\/p>\n

Vice Premier Zhang and Foreign Minister Dar noted with appreciation the traditional \u2018Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership\u2019 and\u2002iron-clad friendship as an exemplary and unique relationship.<\/p>\n

Foreign Minister Dar reiterated Pakistan\u2019s longstanding support for the One-China policy. He underscored that there was an absolute consensus in Pakistan on relations with China and Pakistan\u2019s strong commitment to the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).<\/p>\n

He expressed China\u2019s readiness to upgrade CPEC and to further strengthen cooperation in diverse fields including industry, mining, and information technology.<\/p>\n

It is pertinent to mention here that Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar is in Brussels to attend the First Nuclear Energy Summit.<\/p>\n

Atomic Energy\u2019s first session will kicked off on Thursday in Brussels where Ishaq Dar is representing Pakistan.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Dar will meet the leaders and foreign ministers of the countries participating in the meeting.<\/p>\n

In the meetings, nuclear energy and ways to help advance sustainable development will be discussed among all the leaders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
