LAHORE \u2013 The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rainfall of varying intensities for Lahore and parts of Punjab on Thursday evening\/night and Friday.<\/p>\n

As per the synoptic situation, a weak westerly wave prevails over upper parts of Pakistan. It will likely persist till Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Under these conditions, partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province on Thursday evening\/night and Friday.<\/p>\n

On Thursday evening\/night, light to moderate rain with wind\/thunderstorms are expected in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Sialkot, Bhakkar, Layyah and Noorpurthal.<\/p>\n

On Friday, light rain with wind\/thunderstorms are expected in Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Bhakkar, Layyah and Noorpurthal. Cloudy weather with rain-wind\/thunderstorm is likely in Murree, Galyat and surroundings.<\/p>\n

Lahore\u2019s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 32-34 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in Lahore and most parts of the province during the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Bahawalpur remained the hottest place in the country where temperature reached 35 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 63 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 33 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 69 per cent.<\/p>\n
