{"id":72715,"date":"2024-03-18T21:17:09","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T21:17:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/wife-mehnaz-cemented-my-bond-with-my-daughters-moammar-rana-the-express-tribune\/"},"modified":"2024-03-18T21:17:09","modified_gmt":"2024-03-18T21:17:09","slug":"wife-mehnaz-cemented-my-bond-with-my-daughters-moammar-rana-the-express-tribune","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/wife-mehnaz-cemented-my-bond-with-my-daughters-moammar-rana-the-express-tribune\/","title":{"rendered":"Wife Mehnaz cemented my bond with my daughters: Moammar Rana | The Express Tribune"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"\">\n<p>Film and television actor Moammar Rana, 43, who endured a gruelling jam-packed schedule at the height of his career, sat down alongside wife Mehnaz to discuss his life, career, and bond with daughters in an interview with Jugun Kazim on PTV.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy relationship with my daughters is all down to Mehnaz,\u201d explained the actor and father of two, giving his wife full credit for instilling discipline and running a tight ship in his absence.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mehnaz, Rana\u2019s busy schedule meant he was largely absent from their daughters\u2019 lives, but despite that, or perhaps because of it, she always spoke warmly of him and ensured they respected how hard their father worked for them all and loved him for it<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLife takes a different direction after children, and it\u2019s a learning curve for any couple,\u201d said Mehnaz, a self-described \u201cstrict mother\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mehnaz always aimed for their daughters to nurture a deep love and respect for their father, whether he was at home or at work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cI always reminded the girls that whilst we can have the AC on in the heat, their father is out there working in 48-degree heat,\u201d she recalled. \u201cSimilarly, I reminded them that whilst we can curl up under a blanket in the cold, he is still out working whatever the weather, in sickness and in health, even if he has a fever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As the absent father, Rana sometimes lamented his wife\u2019s strictness, but always ensured that his family never wanted for anything during his long periods away from home.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always made sure they had a car for wherever they needed to go, and if one wasn\u2019t available, I would buy them one,\u201d said the actor. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Today, the proud Rana enjoys a rock-solid bond with both of his daughters Rea, 24 and Raneya, 18.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Have something to add?
