Saud Shakeel, Rilee Rossouw, and Khawaja Nafay were among those dismissed by Imad\u2019s bowling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think what we saw in the last few games, it was spinning, holding a bit, the thing I did well was to bowl really slow, it was gripping and it went well,\u201d Imad commented at the post-match ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI tried to bowl more slow balls than arm balls and mixed it up\u2026worked for me\u2026we restricted them and took wickets which is the best thing, if you do one of these right, you will win because powerplay is very important,\u201d he further added.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s worth noting that Islamabad United triumphed over Quetta Gladiators by a margin of 39 runs. This victory paved the way for United to progress to the second Eliminator, where they will face Babar Azam\u2019s Peshawar Zalmi tomorrow at the same location.<\/p>\n<p>The Gladiators faltered during their chase of 175 runs, falling short by 39 runs. Islamabad\u2019s bowlers dominated the game from the outset, preventing the chasing side from making a comeback.<\/p>\n<p>In their pursuit of the target, Quetta encountered several setbacks early in their innings, losing five wickets for a mere 16 runs in the first five overs.<\/p>\n<p>Imad claimed three wickets, Naseem took two, while Obey McCoy, Hunain Shah, and Faheem Ashraf each took one.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a slow start to their innings, Islamabad soon found their rhythm and began hitting boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Guptill was the top scorer for the two-time PSL champions, scoring 56 off 47 balls, including six boundaries.
