QUETTA:<\/strong> Former Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Quddus Bizenjo, secured victory in the Senate by-poll, marking a significant win for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the province. Bizenjo clinched the seat with 23 votes, affirming his position as Senator for the province. \u201cCredit for my victory goes to President Asif Ali Zardari\u201d, Mr. Bizenjo told Daily Quetta Voice after his election.<\/p>\n

Domki Is The Brother Of Former Caretaker CM Balochistan<\/h2>\n

Joining him in the Senate are Dostain Domki and Shakoor Khan Ghabizai, representing the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) respectively. Domki, brother of former caretaker Chief Minister Ali Mardan Khan Domki, garnered 17 votes, while Ghabizai secured 16. \u201cI am thankful to all lawmakers\u201d, Mr. Domki told reporters outside the Balochistan Assembly.<\/p>\n

61 Lawmakers Cast Their Votes<\/h2>\n

With a turnout of 61 lawmakers, the election showcased a diverse political landscape, with Mobeen Khilji of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) securing five votes.
